Perhentian Island MALAYSIA
The Perhentian Islands is surrounded by warm, crystal clear water filled with a great variety of brilliantly coloured tropical fish and coral reefs offering excellent scuba diving adventures and snorkelling experience in an extremely idyllic and laid back setting. The Perhentians offer some great diving and excellent snorkelling. Underwater visibility is usually around 10-30 metres and wetsuits are generally non essential although you may wish to use a skin suit for some protection. All travellers to the islands must pay a marine park conservation charge payable at the Marine Parks counter located at the Kuala Besut Jetty. MYR5 (Malaysian), MYR30 (Non Malaysian)
